Carbon Investing Compliant Market CER Carbon Credits

The value of the global carbon market is set to grow by a minimum of 424% by the end of this decade according to Bloomberg New Energy Finance. With the EU allowance price dropping some 40%  since June 2011, and with the value of green CERs are trading at around ¤8, this offers investors a unique opportunity to take a medium term view and profit from the carbon markets with a high degree of probability. With the bearish sentiment and the oversupply conditions one must remember that the European carbon markets  will eventually become short.
